Arun K. Kolli, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Arun K. Kolli is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology and Internal Medicine. Dr. Kolli completed his advanced fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology at Brown University, Rhode Island Hospital. Dr. Kolli did his General cardiology and Internal medicine training at the State University of New York, Syracuse.
Dr. Kolli practices cardiac electrophysiology with special interest in cardiac ablation procedures including the latest techniques for ablation of atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia and cryoablation. He is also proficient in all the latest techniques in device implantation including biventricular defibrillators and latest pacemakers. Dr. Kolli led the development of the St Jude Center for training while practicing in Nevada.
Dr. Kolli is a member of the American College of Cardiology and Heart Rhythm Society. Among his many awards and honors, he received the prestigious Haffenreffer Fellow in Medical Sciences Award from the Brown Medical School. Dr. Kolli graduated from medical school at the top of his class.
Dr. Kolli has extensive research experience in both general cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology. He performed clinical research on acute coronary syndromes and presented findings at international meetings. He also did a year of basic research at the world renowned Institute of Cardiovascular Research under the supervision of Dr. Jose` Jalife, the author of the text book of cardiac electrophysiology. Dr. Kolli also participated in cutting edge research on gene therapy in collaboration with John Hopkins University.
