David M. Kassel, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Dr. David M. Kassel is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Diseases and Internal Medicine. He completed his Fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine at the Good Samaritan Hospital after completing his Internship and Residency at the University of Rochester. Dr. Kassel earned his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Rochester and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Dartmouth College with a degree in Organic Synthetic Chemistry.
Dr. Kassel is considered to be one the best in his field in the judgment of other Phoenix metropolitan physicians. He is honored to among Phoenix magazine’s “Top Docs” in Cardiology. Press Ganey, a renowned research firm, ranks Dr. Kassel in the top 10th percentile in the country among physicians whose patients would likely recommend as a physician to friends and family and in the top 10th percentile in overall patient satisfaction with their physician.
Dr. Kassel is a Medical Cardiologist involved in invasive and non-invasive cardiac imaging and therapies. He has a special interest in Interventional Cardiology and performs both diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization. Dr. Kassel is very active in research and is interested in advancing the treatment of heart disease. He is a member of American College of Cardiology, American College of Physicians and American Medical Association.
As a well respected physician, Dr. Kassel hold several Medical Staff leadership at area hospitals and at Tri-City. He has been on Banner Desert Medical Center’s Medical Executive Committee for over 15 years and is the elected President of the Medical Staff. Dr. Kassel holds the position of Medical Direct of Cardiac Rehabilitation at Banner Desert and Banner Heart hospitals. He leads research at Tri-City Cardiology and having proficiency for computers, he is leading Tri-City Cardiology’s conversion to an Electronic Medical Record.
