Duane W. Heinrichs, M.D., F.A.C.C, F.S.C.A.I.
Dr. Duane W. Heinrichs is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Diseases and Interventional Cardiology. He completed his Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease and his Residency in Internal Medicine at the Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center/Carl T. Hayden Veterans Administration Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ. Dr. Heinrichs completed his Internship in Internal Medicine at the Emanuel Hospital and Health Center after earning his Doctorate of Medicine from the Oral Roberts University School of Medicine.
Dr. Heinrichs has a special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of coronary artery disease as well as peripheral arterial disease. He is particularly involved in interventional procedures to treat coronary and peripheral artery disease. He is a Fellow of American College of Cardiology, Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Intervention, the American College of Physicians and the Cardiovascular Society of Arizona .

Dr. Heinrichs is recognized as a outstanding physician and as a physician leader. He has served as Chairman of the Cardiovascular Department and as Chairman of the Endovascular Chairman at Banner Desert Medical Center. Dr. Heinrichs had the honor of being the Chief Cardiology Fellow at the Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center. Tri-City Cardiology physicians elected him to be a member of their Executive Committee.
Dr. Heinrichs serves as a clinical consultant to help teach other physicians how to perform laser atherectomy procedures in peripheral arteries. He also frequently lectures to other physicians and medical groups about cardiovascular disease and peripheral arterial disease and their management. Dr. Heinrichs is active in research and is interested in advancing the treatment of heart disease. He is currently involved in research investigating the treatment of unstable angina.
