Edward Perlstein, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Edward Perlstein is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Medicine, Interventional Cardiology and Internal Medicine. He completed his Fellowship, Residency in Internal Medicine and Internship from Temple University. Before earning his Doctorate of Medicine from New Jersey College of Medicine, he graduated from Villanova University.
Dr. Perlstein is considered to be one the best in his field in the judgment of other Phoenix metropolitan physicians. He is honored to be among Phoenix magazine’s “Top Docs” in Cardiology. Press Ganey, a renowned research firm, ranks him in the top 25th percentile in the country among physicians whose patients are confident in their physician. Dr. Perlstein is a member of American College of Cardiology and American College of Chest Physicians.
Dr. Perlstein has a special interest in medical, echocardiology and interventional cardiology. He practices both outpatient and inpatient consultative cardiology. Dr. Perlstein is very active in research and is interested in advancing the treatment of heart disease.
As a founding member of Tri-City Cardiology, over the past 25 years Dr. Perlstein has built a reputation as a top cardiologist and as a physician leader. He has been on the Board of Directors of Tri-City Cardiology and is currently the Chief Operating Officer and Co-Chairs the Echocardiology Department.
As a well respected cardiologist in the East Valley, Dr. Perlstein has held top hospital Medical Staff leadership positions including Chief of Cardiology at Banner Desert Medical Center and Medical Director of Banner Baywood Heart Hospital. Dr. Perlstein is on the Board of Governors of Iasis Mountain Vista Medical Center and the Medical Director of the Cardiology Service.
