Jacob Green, M.D.

Dr. Jacob Green is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Internal Medicine, having received his training in both at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.  He recently completed an additional fellowship in Interventional Cardiology, also at Emory University.  Dr. Green received his Doctor of Medicine degree from The University of Arizona.

Dr. Green earned top academic honors in medical school including selection to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.  He also earned distinction among his peers and was awarded multiple times during his post-graduate training for outstanding teaching and clinical care.  He served as Chief Fellow during his Interventional Cardiology fellowship. 

Dr. Green specializes in coronary and peripheral arterial disease diagnosis and treatment including minimally invasive techniques such as angioplasty and stenting.  He has particular interest and specialized training in catheter-based treatment of valvular and structural heart disease including aortic stenosis (AS), patent foramen ovale (PFO) and atrial septal defects (ASD).  He has been intimately involved in ground-breaking clinical research in these areas, publishing multiple papers and abstracts related to catheter-based valve replacement.  He intends to bring this research experience to Arizona, offering new and innovative therapies to the people of metro-Phoenix and the surrounding areas.
