Jaskamal Kahlon, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Jaskamal Kahlon is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Diseases, Echocardiography, Interventional Cardiology and Internal Medicine. He completed his Fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine and Internal Medicine Residency at the St. John Hospital and Medical Center, Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at Emory University and his Residency in Cardiology.
Dr. Kahlon has a special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of coronary artery disease as well as peripheral arterial disease. He is particularly involved in interventional procedures to treat coronary and peripheral artery disease. Dr. Kahlon is a member of American College of Cardiology, American College of Physicians, American Society of Internal Medicine and American Medical Association. He is active in research and is interested in advancing the treatment of heart disease. Dr. Kahlon has published papers and abstracts on various topics including coronary disease and he designed and conducted a prospective trial on contrast induced nephropathy.
Dr. Kahlon earned top academic honors in medical school as well as earning Intern of the Year and Case of the Week (Annual Radiology Award) at St. John Hospital and Medical Center. Press Ganey Associates, a renowned research firm, ranks Dr. Kahlon in the top 15th percentile in the country among physicians whose patients would likely recommend his practice to friends and family. Dr. Kahlon is a well respected physician leader serving on the Endovascular committee of the Medical Staff at Banner Baywood Heart Hospital. Holding his Board Certification in Echocardiography, Dr. Kahlon Co-Chairs Tri-City’s Department of Echocardiography.
