Mark S. Stern, M.D., F.A.C.C., F.S.C.A.I.
Dr. Mark S. Stern is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Diseases, Interventional Cardiology and Internal Medicine. He completed his Fellowship in General Cardiology and Internal Medicine Residency at the UCLA Center for the Health Sciences Center. Dr. Stern completed his Rotating Medical Internship at the Harbor General Hospital after receiving his M.D. Degree from the New York Medical College.
Dr. Stern has been recognized by Phoenix magazine as one of Phoenix’s top physicians in Cardiology. Press Ganey, a renowned research firm, ranks him in the top 30th percentile of physicians in the country whose patients would recommend their physician to friends and family. Among his many awards, Dr. Stern was awarded the Mosby Book Scholarship Award for Excellence in Medicine and it member of Alpha Omega Alpha, the medical Honor Society.
Dr. Stern is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tri-City Cardiology. His leadership built Tri-City Cardiology into one of the premier and largest Cardiology practices in the Phoenix metro-area. Known for his leadership, Dr. Stern is on the Board of Governors of the Arizona Chapter of American College of Cardiology and has held several leadership positions on the Medical Staff of Banner Desert Medical Center.
Dr. Stern built his reputation as one of the areas best cardiologists as a Medical and Interventional Cardiologist specializing in invasive techniques. Dr. Stern has been active in research and is interested in advancing the treatment of heart disease. Dr. Stern is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, Fellow of the American Heart Association and a Fellow of the Society for Cardiac Angiography and Interventions. He is a member of the American College of Physicians and American College of Echocardiography.
