Michael E. O’Meara, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Michael E. O’Meara is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Diseases, Nuclear Cardiology and Internal Medicine. He completed his Fellowship in Cardiology, Internal Medicine Residency and Internship at the Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. O’Meara earned his Doctorate of Medicine from the University Of Cincinnati College Of Medicine.
Dr. O’Meara is considered to be among the best doctors in American, voted several times to the list of Best Doctors in America. Dr. O’Meara has been selected to Phoenix magazine’s “Top Docs” in Cardiology and is considered to be one the best in his field by other Phoenix metropolitan physicians,. Detroit Magazine gave him a similar high honor. Press Ganey, a renowned research firm, rated him in the top 10th percentile in the country among physicians whose patients are overall satisfied with their physician’s care. Dr. O’Meara is a member of American College of Cardiology.
Dr. O’Meara is well known as a hospital Medical Staff leader. He has held the highest positions of Chief of the Medical Staff and Vice President at Banner Desert Medical Center. He is Chairman of the Endovascular and the Practitioner Health committees at Banner Baywood Heart Hospital. Dr. O’Meara has held teaching positions at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas and William Beaumont and Henry Ford hospitals in Detroit, Michigan.
Dr. O’Meara is an invasive non-interventional cardiologist and cardiac imaging specialist with a special interest diagnostic cardiac catheterization, nuclear medicine and echocardiography.
