Robert J. Mondschein, M.D, F.A.C.C.

Dr. Robert Mondschein is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Medicine and Internal Medicine. Dr. Mondschein completed his cardiology Fellowship and Residency at Emory University School of Medicine after earning his Doctorate of Medicine from New York University.

Dr. Mondschein is an invasive non-interventional cardiologist performing cardiac catheterizations, echocardiography, and interpretation of nuclear myocardial perfusion studies. Dr. Mondschein has a special interest in the treatment of heart failure and specializes in the practice of cardiology in younger patients. He is active in research and is interested in advancing the treatment of heart disease. Dr. Mondschein is a member of American College of Cardiology and American Medical Association.

Dr. Mondschein has an interest in teaching and received many awards including Physician Assistant Recognition Award for Teaching at Emory University and the Outstanding Medical Resident in Teaching for both Junior and Senior Emory Medical Students. He was Chief Medical Resident at Emory University School of Medicine prior to beginning his Cardiology Fellowship.
