Satya Reddy Atmakuri, M.D.
Dr. Satya Reddy Atmakuri is Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology, Echocardiography, Cardiovascular Disease and Internal Medicine. Dr. Atmakuri attended some of the top cardiovascular training programs in the country. He completed Fellowships in both Endovascular/Structural Interventions and Interventional Cardiology at Columbia University, as well as a Fellowship in Cardiology at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Atmakuri completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine. He received a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University.
Dr. Atmakuri complements his education with extensive medical research in Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) and Vascular Biology. He has several notable publications and is a member of the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society. Dr. Atmakuri has also been involved in teaching medical students, medical residents, and cardiology fellows.
Dr. Atmakuri has a special interest in coronary intervention including drug eluting stents; peripheral vascular procedures including carotid artery stenting, endovascular and abdominal aortic aneurysms and lower extremity interventions; and structural heart interventions such as ASA/PFO and PDA closures; and aortic valvuloplasty.
