Alisha is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with over 12 years of experience as a cardiovascular nurse and educator. Prior to joining Tri-City Cardiology Consultants in 2016, she worked in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) and was a clinical education specialist at Banner Heart Hospital. Alisha received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. Alisha received national certification in family practice from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

She holds certifications in critical care (CCRN), Basic Life Support Instructor and Advanced Cardiac Life Support Instructor with the American Heart Association. Alisha is a member of the American College of Cardiology (ACC), AANP, American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN) and the American Association of Heart Failure Nurses (AAHFN). She was the recipient of the 2014 Friends of Nursing Colorado Scholarship, 2013 Anthony J. Jannetti/Marriott Nursing Scholarship Excellence Award, and has authored multiple presentations for the AAHFN and AACN national conferences.

Alisha has been elected as an Associate of the American College of Cardiology (AACC). This honorable designation recognizes her dedication to providing the highest level of cardiovascular care through advanced training, education and professional advancement.
